>Look at the user metrics.<
But Billy, those users aren't paying fees for those metrics.
Are you?
Btw
This will be the last time I'll tell you to get a "smart card".

>>I have not even started on poor margins compared to competitors, etc.
You are hung up with steady-state thinking. Glenn, the opportunity here is based entirely on change. Regardless of your economic snapshots, Amazon is farthest-up on the correct side of the power curve. That's the critical investment thesis here.

A fund manager put it to me very succinctly at the Montgomery conference. He said that the chain stores can no longer measure their success, because with each store opening they don't know whether they are adding an asset or liability.

Walmart and DELL will agree with me [that retailing hasn't changed in 3000 years]. I do not know who Coldwater Creek is. Amazon would not have a clue. They do not know how to retail. They have proved that.
You're lost, Glenn. Hate to say it. Your posts have become categorical denials.

Amazon stock is breathlessly expensive. I'll give you that. But you have your head in the sand on the merchandising issues.

william, don't change the subject. you lied about not making the tornado reference. i know you lied now b/c you refuse you accept responsibility even after it was pointed out to you. instead, you talk about a secondary issue nobody was discussing.

william, we are not that dumb.
