The trigger for a retest will probably be preponderance of preannouncements of one kind or another, or another external event ( bankruptcy of a manjor airline, a bank in troubles because of excessive derivatives gone wrong, or whatever the excuse of the day might be). I guess that's what I've been wondering, i.e., would it require a trigger, and what would it be? But of course, you're right, any 'excuse of the day' seems to fit when the market wants to go down. Patience and discipline -- you're better at it than most. Thanks for your insights, and for your incredible generosity.

zeev, no bankruptcy from airlines thanks to government's generosity. America West just applied for the guaranteed loan of 400 millions. :-) rental car company though, we have the first bankruptcy filing, parent company of alamo, national, just filed bankruptcy. not a trigger. because they are not tech company. lol.
