MSFT is not a Monopoly, consumer's have a choice. Yes MSFT has greatly reduced prices on the cost for OS, Office Software Applications, and indirectly Hardware. What is this Anti-Trust Law suit about, let me tell ya something, MSFT has reduced sun, oracle, ibm, etc.... PROFIT MARGINS.
Wake-Up and smell the ROSE's! There are choices, pay more money which most people prefer not too, use a different office application (yes they all convert word & excel files, go with Linux or is that Unix?

<when i purchased my last pc i was thinking about purchasing a imac but ms office for the imac cost about $500 at the time. this was about 1/2 of what the entire imac cost. also, the only reason i bought a pc (i.e. gateway) was because i needed my word and excel files to be compatible with the companies i do business with. this is what a monopoly does, it restricts choice and i was basically forced to purchase a pc with ms windows and office.>
