BULLS must be willing to stand up to
the many bears on this thread !

As a bull, I feel more comfortable when there are lots of bears around. <g>

Larry, I didn't think you picked sides. I thought you just listened to the market. You certainly must agree that we've got a ways to go before we can certify this technically as a "Bull" market?

Right now I believe you would have to agree that what you're really doing is trading a bear market rally until we cross the 200 DMA, which you have said in the past is the point at which a bull market is certified.

If you want a label, you've really got to be a Trading Bear. If you prove correct and we cross the 200DMA without a double bottom, you'll be a Dancing Bear, then a Bull.

The only way you can really certify this market a bull right now is if you call it a castrated bull. Until we prove that the bottom in September was The Bottom through a re-test, this bull is missing some key components, IMO.

I did not realize that there was a "confrontation" and a need to to stand up, there are different opinions and different techniques, and we are all trying to learn heuristically, what tools work best for what conditions. None work all the time. I doubt that some are better than others, some work well in certain markets, others in other markets.

I did not realize you were a perma anything, have you turned into a perma bull? Late in September I think I did my share in "standing up" to the gloom and doom and the freeze up that seized a lot of people, we ma have a reverse seize up here, so maybe temporary "bears" should "stand up" to the perma-bulls?
