What is the market share of Java, Linux and Palm as a consumer OS?

It's a lot less than it would be if MS Office were available for those platforms.

You see, if Office were available on those platforms, their sales would increase enough to make those versions of Office profitable. Many large companies would purchase thousands of thin Java clients just to run Office. A version of Office for Sharp's new Java-on-Linux PDA would be very successful for both Sharp and MS Office.

Do you understand that particular antitrust issue better now?
