Estimated, I agree with you, but on the other hand, HAL followed MU for a long time, but it was not capable of giving a very early hint of Scenario I (and is still mute on scenario II). Some some analytical work, based on uncommon fundamental principles also helps. Particularly, LG's principle "Think like a criminal" (g).

Seem to remember his call to get out at 2080 in May/June was pretty good also..
