Zeev, my problem was that
1) I bought too early
2) I did not stay put (in this case CALL) ng.
I was long JNPR EMLX and NEWP from about 13-14 and nearly freaked on the fall to 9. I was long TXCC (poor choice at 5 and it went to 3.5). NTAP at 10 and watched it fall to 7 or whatever.

When JNPR EMLX NEWP hit 15 and stalled I was happy (or thought I was, to get out with a profit). Was going to "buy the dip", a dip that never happened of course. When NTAP got back to 12 or whatever, I took my gains. TXCC got back slight above even and I got out. PISS POOR TRADING, and unlike others I admit it.

This had nothing to do with options, and if anything I was better off because of options. I had tons of cash to double up at the lows as I did not over commit on my options, but I was plain and simple freaked out.

I have been thinking about this lately.
The last "shakeout" move can be a killer. As I recall, the index did not even drop much as those stocks were crashing.

I am wondering if the reverse is happening now.
MSFT CSCO INTC keep making new recovery highs but QLGC EMLX JNPR have stalled (or keep spiking and selling off like EMLX).

Now, I am nearly freaked the other way.
I tend to be a week early or so. That must be my fate in life. ng
