bb - you are mistaken.
There are plenty of LTBH people that hope to get even.
You are correct, however, in that they totally do not matter. They simply will never sell at a loss. No fear, no panic, they just plain will not sell.

So no matter what happens these people simply will never sell. For those at JNPR 50, however, that is another story, they may very sell when they are green.

Finally, I had a discussion with a fund manager on this thread who thinks fiber will happen again, when I posted that JDSU would never hit 100 again.

Thus I believe even some fund managers believe in the "impossible".

As for "bear crying" I seem to recall you warning me that I was going to have my head handed to me on a platter for shorting when the Naz was at 2000+.

Is there institutional or intelligent money that would stay put in JNPR from $200 or even $60 to today's level? That would be some kind of oxymoron, wouldn't it?
