You picked the systems limitation. You could have parted with a wee bit 'o gold and got a CD writer.

You can't blame them for your poor choices.

The 1.9 Ghz Dell I recently got has both DVD and CD-RW. Complete with tools to burn the system disk to CD and Windows CD.
