ATM National Launching First New Nationwide Network in Over 20 Years; Forming Strategic Alliance With Diebold and EDS WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- ATM National LLC today announced it will introduce in early 2002 the first new nationwide ATM network in over 20 years. The network will offer its members and their customers' surcharge-free transactions and deposit sharing at more than 30,000 ATMs across the country. ATM National also announced it has formed a strategic alliance with two of the industry's largest EFT technology and solutions providers, Diebold, Incorporated, (NYSE: DBD - news), a worldwide leader in self-service automation, and EDS (NYSE: EDS - news), a leading global information technology and transaction processing services company.
