Hi George,

For me it depends. I've started building a position in trusts a while back with the intent of holding them as a core portfolio holding for income production. If (when) we get the next bubble in energy I will reevaluate and see if I wish to take ST cap gains or not even on my core position. I really don't know as I've only started trying out this strategy. I'm sure I'll use a trading position at least around the core position.

The NT I bought specifically for a trade with a target in mind. Target reached or stop loss reached and I'm out. Simple. Don't look back. Another train is always coming. It took me a long time to learn that :o) and stop feeling like I 'missed' the boat when a stock would pass my target after I sold it. It hurts a lot more losing profits when you get greedy or worse selling at a loss when you had been up. Been there done that and once really big time.

Sorry I can't help you on the Shoppers as I don't really know about it.

regards
Kastel
