It was rumored over a year ago that AMD was starting to aggressively push CD's. A recent article on the Inquirer also detailed how small the AMD CD's had gotten. They're now stuck at ~70nm until they can get 193nm manufacturable (best of luck to them to do it in the 0.13 micron node).

It's easy to buy a chip, open it up, cross section it and measure the channel lengths. AMD is using .13u transistors now. It's not debatable to anyone who has looked at the cross sections. The evidence is in plain sight.
