Tim, I think it makes excellent sense to be looking at the
storage sector, It's a growth area over the next few years.

QLGC is #2 behind EMLX in HBA fabric switches and this space is growing next year.

what type of growth do you think the HBA fabric switch
market might see in the coming year?

EMLX has gotten back to it's 200 dma in
the past 5 days or so and after not being able to close
above it with authority; itis now falling back below it
today.

obviously profit taking and shorts have been established
at the 200 dma.

a bit of news from soundview:
09:36 ET Network Storage : Sources telling us that Soundview believes that hardware spending, and network storage in particular, will benefit from a shift in spending priorities in CY02.

Soundview/Gartner IT survey indicates users will spend more on data availability and disaster recovery initiatives, which is first hard sign that area could see increased rev in CY02. BRCD and NTAP are favorites names; other beneficiaries include EMLX, QLGC, MCDTA.

and a volume note, heavy volume shows we are seeing some
churning and selling----11:38 ET Volume : Total volume traded is decidedly heavy today. The Nasdaq has already cleared 1 billion total shares traded while the NYSE has had 618 million shares cross the tape.
