I post that I like the new NEM-FN-NDY combination, agree with the stock swap finance method, and consider it bullish for POG. So what do you do in turn? Rather than engage in the pros or cons of this event and the interpretation I raised, you elect instead to attack my character (and manage somehow to drag Claude into it to boot), my annualized investment rate of return, and incredibly, how I spend my time. Another clear illustration as to why you've managed to wreck a half dozen threads on SI, nut case.

NEMs Murty said about 4 bullish things in his CNBC interview a few mins ago:

1) for every $25 rally in the price of gold it lifts earnings $162,000...if y'all run the calculations and decide what that means per share, price wise, tucking away this fact should make writing put strategies like taking candy from baby.

2) His opinion, gold bottom 2-3 years ago...and this newly merged company will be making money at this POG level without any rally needed in POG

3) His opinion, gold is poised for a "significant move higher in next 3-5 years"

4) Merger has support of Normandy board which means something under Aussie mining/securities laws...a definite advantage that Anglo doesn't enjoy at this time.
