I wonder if part of the mistake here isn't that they are in such a hurry to reassure us that it isn't terrorism that they are actually scaring us more. When is the last time that the safety board at a crash scene within almost minutes was floating theory's on what happened? It's unheard of IMO and it's causing them to give us half assed, inaccurate info. Whenever there's a crash, the NTSB and the FBI both respond. The NTSB has the lead until such time as there's an indication it's other than an accident at which time the FBI takes the lead. Needless to say, the parties are very attentive to the accident vs. crime question from the get-go. It's not at all unusual for that question to be covered by the press. I know, I know. I'm really a wet blanket. Karen
