Elmer, copper may be a big boost. All I was arguing was the fact that Paul was comparing two completely different CPU architectures and their respective speeds and concluding that a given process ( copper ) is as good as another ( aluminum ). All I was saying that you cannot deduce one from the other. To be honest with you, maybe Paul is right and aluminum IS as good as copper in .18. The fact remains that you cannot make that deduction from comparing the two cpus ( athlon and P4 ). Constantine
