Oh yeah, and I will believe these earnings when I see them. I know very little about Micron so it is not me expecting those earnings. However, the market is pricing in some expectation of those earnings....so when Mucho is trying to figure out why the market has decided to price MU so differently than in '90, I believe that the answer lies in those expectations. Amazon.com will have $2 trillion profit next year cause I say so This argument can be used against attempting to estimate the earnings of any stock....since the market screwed up on Amazon they will overestimate the earnings of every stock. Actually, my memory is that on the way up MU dramatically beat expectations on certain occassions....just like on the way down their earnings dissappeared rather dramatically. Slacker
