Tony - AMD RESTATES their CPU shipments in Q3 2001 !!!
AMD claimed to have shipped RECORD NUMBERS of CPUs in Q3 2001 - when they announced their earnings report.

Now, they are telling a DIFFERENT STORY in their SEC 10-Q filing !!!

Total PC processor unit sales were relatively flat compared to the second quarter of 2001

Paul, who's going to tell the faithful over on the AMD thread? Isn't this something they should know, as serious investors? Much as I hate those LOL things, LOL!

Tony

Paul
sinility?
how is "Total PC processor unit sales were relatively flat compared to the second quarter of 2001" different from "remained at last quarter's record level" (original statement)?
