I must protest. Provocation? And III can be trying? Why? Simply because my ideas are different and I defend them with vigor. Oh please. These are ideas. Ideas do not call for insults, that is what babies do when they cannot think of anything clever. To meet ideas that one does not like, one uses other ideas- or one loses.

Not always. I do not condone or encourage what Master has done here, but as a general rule, this statement is overly broad. Deciding what is "relative to the provocation" is the real trick.....
