I see exactly what you mean. That was a very weird little downdraft.

This is too ugly. I'd rather just watch and wait and that's what I am doing now... This is o weak I am starting to think we'll get our down leg sooner than we think.

Here's an idea to explain this ugly affair.

The entire move off today's lows is itself a triangle. We have seen a(up), b(down), and are now in c(up), with d-e yet to come.

Now that this occurs to me, i am sitting on my hands. A bunch of trades today that went nowhere. I'm gonna practise the trumpet for a while.
