You raise valid arguments in your post. I do suspect, though, there's another side to the Native American story. I would have to research the source of the Native American claims to assign validity to the fraud allegation. However, having said that, it would not surprise me if the Native American tribe had been ripped off for years by the federal government. There is a history of such in this country.

Re Big Media and pro-government bias: I'm not going to disagree with your contention. I think you're on to something. Follow the money trail. Who controls Big Media today? Big Business. Virtually every large newspaper, TV station and radio station in the country today is owned by Big Business. This wasn't the case 20-30 years ago. So the question evolves into this: "Is it healthy that Big Business and Big Government are so cozy?"
