Ridicule is the finest tool of wit.
I appreciate good ridicule. It is an art form. Brute insults are offensive to my aesthetic sensitivities. I would think you would embrace such a notion. There is a difference between using words and ideas, cleverly, and using them as Apes throw sticks, without thought and attention to detail.

How I love the ridicules and satires of the ages. Nothing pleases me more than satire and ridicule. Even satires and ridicule I don't agree with- provided they are well done. Satire and ridicule are the pinnacle of wit (imo). Human nature is very silly. Most humans are not educated, and do not wish to be, so "human nature" isn't to be held in much esteem, to judge by the nature of most humans.. Most humans, in fact, have a fear of the educated- which you can see most mass movements and revolutions pander to.

E once did a MARVELOUS parody of my writing. Best I've ever seen. Only good one I've ever seen, actually. She has a gift. I appreciated it very much.
