it is much smaller and predates 10q

So, backing off now, huh?

Another thing I thought of is that, maybe in 10Qs, you better watch what you say a lot more than in CCs or on CNBC. Bottom line is that Paul was right in that the 10Q is more negative sounding in the way AMD expressed processor sales for Q3, than were the recent CCs.
