But there is no "common working man" without business. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

`I will bring integrity' to job of Beach mayor, Dermer says
By Sonji Jacobs , Sajacobs@herald.Com

Miami Beach voters on Tuesday put their confidence in a native son by decisively electing Commissioner David Dermer as mayor over former state Rep. Elaine Bloom.

Dermer overcame a six-percentage-point deficit in last week's general election and a war chest less than half the size of Bloom's. He won 54 percent of the vote, compared to Bloom's 46 percent.

Dermer's victory was aided by last-minute endorsements by Florida's governor and a longtime city commissioner who lost in the Nov. 6 general mayoral election.

<<Last election I voted the straight Democratic ticket.>>

I believe there is a 12 step program that helps stop that self abusive type of behavior.
