They would have 100% of the satellite transmission business then you would really see lousy service. I would try Direct but I think I would have the same problem. I could have the tree removed but don't want to spend the $1000.00 to have it cut down. Ken

I agree. I just hope DISH doesn't succeed taking over DirecTV. My DirecTV signal is between 92-100%. In the wake of 911 I had to buy the local channels and I just had them disconnected when the new antennae come on line. The rep said they "wouldn't charge the $5 disconnect fee". I said that's good, because no one told me there was one. The rep said, "that's because we always waive it".
