If they weren't targeting the Jews, they would be targeting Christians. The only democracy in the Middle East, is Israel. One of the few Arab leaders to mention Israel's security concerns was the Foreign Minister of Jordan, Abdel-Elah Khatib, who on Monday called for "the fulfillment of the national rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of their viable independent state on their homeland as well as guaranteeing the security of Israel." You have to remember that a PLO-headed Palestinian state would be even more destabilizing to Jordan than to Israel. Small wonder they take the security concerns seriously.
