Lemon, I often reply to posts with random inquiries just to get people to visit the thread more often.

Didn't mean to pick on you!

I saw some of the recent investment summaries posted here about SNDK's prospects.

These are my comments...

Eli is predicting a pretty poor Q4 and much of the enthusiasm in the investment
capsule statements is based on growth rates from 2000 which were influenced, IMHO, by
double-books from OEM's and pricing at retail which was not sustainable. That is to say,
2001 results reflect more realistic ASP's and more realistic (anemic) demand.

The next few quarters will be impacted by accounting for the start-up costs for Dominion.
This will be reflected in higher costs for production and will be impacted negatively
by significantly lower ASP's. As I see it, the cost savings that Eli mentioned
in the conference call won't come into effect until later in 2002.

I bought some SSTI near the bottom a few weeks back which I recently converted to
SNDK shares after the SSTI run-up last week. I don't have enough confidence to
put new money into techs, let alone SNDK at this time, but that's me.
