Zeev I also bought stock in the second half of September but for a gamble. True did not imagine that so many will double in 6 weeks, but that is not INVESTING!! it is trading.

As to your calculation there are several flaws

1. AMAT is not the only one in the field
2. You assume Semis will continue to spend heavely on equipment no matter what
3. No serious manufacturing competition will arise within the next 2 years.

as a result margin will remain the same.

I do not sign on those assumptions, competition will arise and margins will be slimmer in 2 years.

In September the valuations were not were they are today. AMAT at $28 is not AMAT at $42. Further if you want to invest in companies wiht cash or other hard assets at hand there are plenty of them not in high tech
