that's a very good point, and one that ashok kumar also made a couple weeks ago. q4 is looking to be atypically weak for the whole sector. there just doesn't seem to be any compelling market buzz for new retail/enterprise buying now. it's beginning to look like an entire product cycle is going to rot on the shelf. i just saw something today i've never seen, kmart is selling hp systems for $799. hp!! they used to be the cream of the crop, now, they're just trying to survive. i think the digital dream has morphed into something that's not clearly understood yet by the big dogs and we're seeing it play out in realtime in the market. btw, niles and kumar would be buyers @~$17, maybe... larry@justanotherfuzzyopinion.arg
