Methinks the "spooks" are there primarily to coordinate "bug hunts" for Arabs. Imo they want these guys found alive for interrogation purposes. Interrogation will probably be done with NA guys present. It will probably be done "Afghan Style." :o} Wouldn't want to be an Arab in Afghanistan right now. Imo this is why the Talibs and Arabs left so quick. Imo the US wanted the NA in Kabul ASAP. This business about the NA not entering Kabul was a disinformation fig leaf thrown in the direction of Pakistan. The B-52 raids blasted "red carpet" holes in the Talib lines. The NA just walked in. It was an open invitation by the USAF. I see the viability of a Talib counter insurgency as next to zero. My bet is that most of these guys will try to make it to Pakistan, the birthplace of their movement, and then many will flee to safe havens in Arabic countries. Only then can they "regroup" in the shadows to continue their "Holy War" against the west.
