Whew! That is very rough. What a mess. I figured you must have had a bad experience in the caretaker role when I read your post to Captain Jack on the America Under Siege thread regarding setting things up NOW for elderly parents. Both of my parents have passed away, but several of my friends are dealing with this situation now. I hope it all works out for you and you get back your mother's rightful money. Your mother is lucky to have a son who will look after her. I understand what you are saying about the light displays now. I misunderstood what you were talking about. I thought you were making fun of people in the southwest. I was trying to be funny right back and it didn't work (common occurrence). LOL! Hang in there, Patrick. You are in the right and must win. Let us know if you need an email assault on the crooks!

Patrick, Having experienced a similar situation (not the theft thankfully) with my mother, I am sadly aware of what you and your mother are dealing with right now. In fact, both my mother and my husband's grandmother (also like a mother to me) were in nursing homes at the same time. It was a life altering experience for everyone. I cannot talk about this publicly as I become too emotional but if I there is anything I can say about WRT my personal experience that may be of help, please pm. I have every confidence you will find the crooks who stole from your mom and do all that you can to nail them to the wall.
