Craig,

I have followed SSTI since mid-1998 and have posted there in the past.

Despite this interest I didn't understand the business model long-term and probably
spent too much time researching (and defending) SNDK to the exclusion of other investments
and opinions forwarded by others (who have frequented this thread). I see them as
much less of a threat to SNDK, and, to be honest, never felt they competed directly with SNDK.

That being said, I have come to realize in the last year or so that SNDK and SSTI
can grow in parallel. The only problem owning both is being overly concentrated
in tech. Both companies showed explosive growth in 2000, aided by double bookings
in the buying frenzy by industrial customers. Both stocks should fair well when
the semiconductor industry recovers. Both stocks remain core holdings for me.
