Here's some good news - Eight aid workers arrive safely in Pakistan

ananova.com

Eight foreign aid workers are safe in Pakistan after being held in Afghanistan for three months by the Taliban for preaching Christianity.
Three US special forces helicopters picked up the aid workers in a field near Ghanzi, about 50 miles southwest of Kabul, Defence Department officials said.
The aid workers were flown to Pakistan, and appear to be in good health.
It is not clear whether the Taliban released the aid workers or they escaped or were freed by US forces. Of the eight aid workers, four are from Germany, two from Australia and two from the United States.
The aid workers' rescue came five weeks into US military airstrikes against Taliban and al-Qaida forces.
In Islamambad, Nancy Cassell, the mother of US aid worker Dayna Curry, said: "They're on their way here. I'm happy and I want to get ready to go where they come in."
