Maybe More/Better Training Is the Answer?

I think the system can/will only allow so much professionalism, that is to say, the hired hands will only be as good as the system allows them to be.

Many of the people entrusted with these duties are not as " aware " shall we say, as those from a military or other professional security backgrounds.

For you or others from these backgrounds to automatically ASSume they can carry on these duties, while still maintaining an air of civilian like domestic quality is foolhardy..at best.

If you want the Gestapo at every airport, then back to the future we go Cap'in.There has to be a middle ground between high security AND domestic comfort.

I believe proper training is the key here.
