We declared this as an act of war when it happened (WTC).

Let's not forget how awful WTC was...and how we'd feel if hundreds of thousands died in a nuclear attack (and/or attack on our nuclear reactors), or if someone exploded a dirty bomb in a major city...

We were too complacent before. I think now we understand what's at stake. I tend to be left of middle and I don't have any problem with Bush's military tribunal.
