tc,

Yes, I get Langa List Plus too and was quite interested to read it last night. He may be talking about Systemworks 2001 which definitely does not work with XP. I use Norton Utilities 2002 and I didn't have any freeze ups and as far as I can see DI works fine. Just the invalid links message in WinDoctor.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention and have a great vacation! Happy Thanksgiving!

Just got my new Dell Dimension 4300 and love it, although there are many more conflicts than I would have liked with XP. Norton Utilities 2001 and Norton Antivirus 2001 both do not work on XP. The drivers for my Xerox printer will not install. I also had trouble with many other pieces of software I had hoped to get up and running. But my biggest concern is my scanner. My HP 3200C scanner is not working yet; there is an update on HP's website, but it has not worked for me or many others I have heard from on groups.google.com

groups.google.com

Anyone else have similar issues and find solutions? I already ordered Norton Systemworks 2002 so the software thing is not a big deal. But I don't want to run out and buy a new scanner if I don't need to.

TIA.

Brian
