That is, after all, what it boils down to. By the way, if he had come clean, instead of trying to ruin Monica (and using people like Betty Currie) to cover himself, at the outset, I would have been inclined to be forgiving. I would have thought he should have resigned, but I would have respected him for doing penance in public, at least, and not taking the low road. The thing that made it impossible to ignore, in the end, was his willingness to characterize Monica as a stalker and let his associates incur huge legal bills to protect him. He is a terrible person, and a disgrace to his office........
