Didn't the incentives originally only apply to "existing dealer stock"...

This would mean that the incentives were used to lower bloated dealer inventory that they were stuck with...

I fail to see how moving out inventory will help the economy and be "good business" for all the suppliers, etc..
for the forseeable future. To the contrary,now that anyone that was considering a purchase, has...how do they propose selling cars next year?

Just as a side note...went and looked at "new" leftover trucks here in S.Florida...and there are plenty of leftover 2001 models on every lot...That would explain why the 0% has been extended....again.
