Its hard when the very people you need and who can make a difference ( The Police ) either can't help you or give you the impression that they don't care. In a situation I had a few years ago we really needed the police and thus called on them. The problem was that as soon as they got involved it seemed they had an agenda that didn't match what I believed the situation called for. I guess you can't ask for help and then dictate how that help is given but in the example I speak of it seemed like the moment the police got involved things took on a life of their own. Very difficult.
