You guys missed some important parts of the story. This company is very, very shaky: 06:46 ET Providian Fincl (PVN) 3.68: Credit card issuer announces that it is suspending payment of a quarterly cash dividend and is pursuing the possible sale of $3 bln in higher-risk credit card receivables. Salomon Smith Barney and Goldman, Sachs have committed to securitize at least $900 mln of PVN's credit card receivables. PVN also has withdrawn earnings guidance for Q4 and 2002.
