You're talking about assimilation on a different level than what the article is talking about. He's talking loyalty etc, and you're talking about whether or not someone learned English. (your grandmother) The muslims that feel separate probably feel because they want to feel separate. They want to whine about things. They don't want to be modern. They want everyone to be like them. They want to change us, and not change themselves, and if they want to be like their tired ass countrymen, they should have stayed in Palestine. And I'm not talking about eating falefels, and goat cheese, that's not what this is all about. Politcal correctness if not dead is almost there, and it's about time. We're not going to be on the same page about this, I can see that, so why continue? I don't care about the foreigners that don't want to live for the future and help make America continue to be progressive and great, IMO the hell with them and the horse they rode in on.
