howdy thar, mam ... no market today for me, as I have two consultations ... attorney construction super .... both as to attempt to extinguish potential problems in the current situation before said problems occur ... the daughter is seemingly adapting to having me around five and six days per week ..... to say we've established a deepening rapport is to put it mildly ...and it feels good ..... the grandkids are much more resilient. , thank heavens ... on the oak floor ... magnificent stuff .... have the staircase and a couple of upstairs halls here in a natural finish, and one bedroom in a honey color --- really really like it .... I've installed some myself (parquet, which isn't my fav, but Leslie liked it best) this past month ... got several hundred more feet to do next month over at her house .... I have close to a thousand feet of the 3/4 and 7/8 inch thick oak flooring in several finishes that I bot on a closeout couple of years ago ....still in the boxes --- am going to buy a 12in planer to take off the top 3/64 to remove the color, and to make it all the same thickness ..... and put it down upstairs here (OR) perhaps put it into a new house for Les .... as we are on the verge of talking her into moving to Paris at the close of the school year ...... and the youngest daughter is also planning to move back here with her new (first and hopefully ONLY) husband at the same time .... of course , I'm ecstatic that both kids will be closer to me in my old age .....both physically AND emotionally .... thassssssss great for this ol dummy ..... ggggggg the HomeDepot just opened here last week .... I'm a steady customer, needless to say ..... hehehehe
