True but the shorts are getting squeezed and if they throw in the towel we go a lot higher IMHO..
Remember I mention over 2 weeks ago how bearish these threads have become..

a possible scenario--techie a ton of money is being crammed into the market--that sideline money is shrinking---at some point market will hit price where a buyers versus sellers balance will shift and a sell-off will commence. With so much sideline money already in i don't see much dipsomania action occurring.I see support points only where shorts start covering for profits.
I await next week with much anticipation to see just how far this overbought overvalued speculation market can run.
that's one opinion.Max p.s. also ,another sharp downturn will have a greater negative impact on consumer confidence than ever before ,imo.As i think public itself will be more shaken by another down turn in the face of so much hype--sooner or later they will just say "to hell with it" i am really going to put my money under my bed this time. That is one possible scenario.
I myself am watching the oil situation as i feel if the price of crude does crater it won't be for long.
