Peter, Re: Processor bestseller list of November, 15

Judging from this data it appears that AMD has successfully established Athlon XP in the DIY market. I was a little bit skeptical at first (since the Athlon XP didn't appear to sell that well in the first few weeks at K&M) but now sales look good. My guess would be that if you add up volumes of the XP1600+ and XP1700+ (number 3 and 5 on the general bestseller list) they would probably take the top spot. So basically AMD managed to change the $90 1.4 GHz Thunderbird with the $100+ Athlon XPs. I am still perplexed that Jerry didn't guide higher last week.
