JERUSALEM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2001--e-SIM, Ltd. (Nasdaq:ESIM), the leader in advanced simulation technology for product design, development and code generation, announced today that Telelogic AB, a long time distributor of its RapidPLUS software in Germany, has elected to use its RapidPLUS tool as a key component for the User Interface development for a 1.46 million Euro ($1.3 million US) development project they have undertaken for a non-disclosed European car manufacturer. Under the terms of the agreement, Telelogic will deliver in-car multimedia and information solutions, called telematics systems, for one of the customer's new car models in the luxury segment within 12 months. In the project, Telelogic will help the customer develop advanced information and entertainment systems for the driver and the passengers in the car. These are developed based on MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport), a world standard for data communication of multimedia and telematics applications, mainly within the automotive sector. RapidPLUS will be used in this project together with a number of other tools supplied by Telelogic. "Telelogic's consistent preference for RapidPLUS, re-confirms the unique and significant value and complete solution the product offers our customers," said Ken Dixon, President of e-SIM. "We are proud to note Telelogic's success in both promoting Rapid sales and in choosing the most effective product for the success of their in-house projects for third party customers."
