I believe there was a time when U.S. citizens were NOT allowed to have dual nationality.
I do not know if that has changed or when.

Forgetting that, there ARE certain restrictions on what you can and can't do. You would have to look them up to know the details. I think working for a foreign government requires you do some sort of paperwork with our government, for example. I do NOT know the details.

It has ALWAYS been the case in times of war that the "with us or agin us" concept has been in play for Americans.

Look up treason.
