Why do you say that? Motherboards could be designed and validated with Q1 samples and be ready for sale Q2 when the volume of AMD chipsets might [hypothetically] hit.

Any kind of a launch by July 1, even a low volume one, would be considered a real coup, IMO. The roadmap clearly shows the left edge of the Clawhammer bar to the right of mid-2002.
