fyo, "Assuming AMD (for which no dates are given) actually manages volume production starting a whole quarter earlier (i.e. Q2), there's no way you can buy it before sometime Q3 at the earliest" Why do you say that? Motherboards could be designed and validated with Q1 samples and be ready for sale Q2 when the volume of AMD chipsets might [hypothetically] hit. Any kind of a launch by July 1, even a low volume one, would be considered a real coup, IMO. The roadmap clearly shows the left edge of the Clawhammer bar to the right of mid-2002. Petz
