I saw this in a post after we talked and thought I would share it.

"Bad business results should be no harder to forecast than optimistic results. But after a full year of bad numbers by most companies, forecasting the next bad number seems easier.
For example, Ford Motor warned on Wednesday that its fourth-quarter loss would be almost four times worse than Wall Street had thought. The story was buried in most newspapers and caused only a one-day dip in Ford's stock.
So it's not too surprising that Sun Microsystems and Intel late Thursday talked about a return to ......

So if the sales were so SUPER strong last month, why are the lossssssssessssssss so Big? gg
