Holy Cow- You're right. There were no national elections this month. That makes NEXT year's low the starting point for his historical comparison. Good catch. Wonder how he missed something THAT obvious. He must not be too in tune w/ politics, eh?

Paul,

the presidential cycle has been there all along. whatever low we made this year has no bearing.
historical data are the 3rd & 4th year low have never been lower than the low made in 2nd year. caveat is 2nd year low doesn't have anything to do with 1st year low. from what i understand.
