Hi Neocon - unfortunately all this activity you're talking about is wasted motion... our "representatives" do not represent the citizens. They used to be citizens early in our country's history, but are now professional politicians who represent the government, and the lobbyists. Details of government expenditure are available for some things, unavailable for military and secret police expenditures. IMO, most people don't have a clue that their taxes are so high, just a numb feeling of having their pockets picked, without knowing who the pickpocket is. One good way to tell how "representative" government is: Did you ever vote to raise taxes? To give weapons to the Taliban, or send them $45 million four months ago? There's your answer...
